At the heart of this poetic search for traces is the human being, in all their uniqueness, with their hopes and fears, their victories and defeats, strong and fragile at the same time. Surface and depth, dream and reality, present and future, transience.

Human beings in an eternal struggle with themselves and their environment, sometimes loud and violent, sometimes quiet and gentle, often tragic, often comical. Crying and laughing are close together. Sometimes they become perpetrators, sometimes victims; the boundaries are fluid.

Are isolation and the longing for strong leadership on the rise? Why do people repeatedly become embroiled in wars?

I would also like to explore these questions in my search for clues.
